factory race track in carson CA

any body seen any activity going on at the place where the Porsche Factory was going to install a track at the 405 and 110 Freeways. I thought they were going to break ground this last Summer? Chris

Nothing when I drove past a couple days ago......

Golf course just looks dead but its still there and not torn up......Maybe they can leave it and just use it as the off-road course

Why wouldn't Porsche just buy the Honda test track 100 miles north?

The working title, as i have been told, is the Porsche Experience Center. The plans are all set with bids being taken by contractors for the various parts of the plan. So its coming. Whether Porsche clubs will be allowed on the track is open at this time.

FWIW clubs near Santa Maria are using the airport track set up by Porsche for autocross. This was paved in part, by Porsche for the launch of the 991

Dave is right. It will be a Porsche Experience Center similar to what they have in Atlanta. At this time, it will not be available to the POC or PCA for club racing.
