    Pricing advice: Porsche dash

    I want to sell the one piece dash from my 1973 Porsche 911S. I was able to find a 1973 original 2 piece design (i.e. the speaker grill is separate). I don't know the year of this dash, but it is a Porsche OEM part and it fit the car perfectly. Ducts, corners, you name it. Fits perfectly. Any idea what the vintage of this would be and what I should ask for it in the classifieds (please no PMs till it is posted - that is only fair to everyone).

    Hey Ravi.
    These dashes were the official replacement part available through Porsche or dealers. They were intended as a fix for the design flaw that caused most of the original dashes to crack around the speaker opening.
    As such, I've seen these sell (used) in the range of $600-$800. The availability of passable removable grill dashes has eaten away at the resale value a bit.

    If,I can ever find a nice original for my car, I'll be pricing my 1-piece dash @ $800 and work my way down from there.
