    Some photos for you guys.....

I have been a lurker for quite some time. I recently registered as I am selling my SC and I am on the search for a 911T and couldnt see photos. Been learning a lot poking around the forum. I thought I would post up and share some of the photos I took of bobs 911 that may not have made it into the mag. Might want to try and check it out though, Bob is quite the character and its a great story. If anyone wants to see anything in specific I can check and see if I shot photos of that particular thing.

I'd have to say, the best part of all of this, is being able to drive it. At the time I had no plans to sell my SC. Its a mint SC and it needs absolutely nothing. Yet here I am. Selling it. I blame Bob and the experience of driving this thing that really kicked off my search, and it certainly planted the seed to getting an early car.

It MAAAAY still be on shelves in total911 magazine. I speculate though that it isnt as the new issue is out. Anyways, enjoy the photos and I hope to hang out here more often. It seems like a great resource.

and here is my SC. Love this thing, but the journey must continue.

Kris, appreciate the posting of Bob's wonderful 911. It is a great little machine, and it indeed has a GREAT owner. Bob is a wonderful caretaker and real fun to listen to telling about the life of this Tough little Kraut.

Bob again graciously gave us the tour of his gem at BIR this summer, after the transformation of 300149 into its present incarnation. I could listen to his story for hours........ enamoring.

By the way, the previous owner frequents this site too and is a died in the wool 911 owner , Club racer, and friend to the Porsche world. Both instrumental members of our PCA region, I consider the fact of knowing these gentleman an honor and privelege and give them both credit for enabling # 149 to exist today. He could have disappeared years ago into the mists of time if not by the preserving hands of Bruce , then Bob , now he graces our presence today giving us all pause for reflection on what tremendous history this company, Porsche, includes.

Personally , I find his new clothes rather fetching.
