    SWB Aluminium Bumper Corners

HSCC Regs in the UK Specify that body panels must be metal - fibreglass not permitted- so we have made a pair in Aluminium.

    Hi Chris,

Beautiful work. Do you have photos of the underside with the mounting brackets?

    Thanks,

I imagine those corners, plus an aluminum centre panel and engine lid amounts to quite a light combo!! Great stuff.

    Bert,

We haven't made brackets yet, this is the next step and as soon as they are finished I will take photgraphs.

These corners have had the exhaust cut out deleted as we will fit a 2 in 2 out silencer which we are just working on and we will use an Aluminium Centre panel.

I also need to try to produce Aluminium Overriders.

Great news. Between us we should be able make all the panels. We have made fully ally doors and now working on ally bonnets. Have you thought about front bumpers, as we are considering those next but there is no point duplicating work.
    Thanks
    Alan

Our ally bonnet is about a week from completion.

The front bumper is likely to take until Christmas.

We started making the rubber press tooling to the inner frame of the engine lid using a modern tooling resin and this is with the pattern maker at the moment and we have a project we will start at the end of the year to do a pair of SCRS front wings.

Chris, like they said, it takes an English craftmanship to do this. Now the big question ? How much are they going to be ? or how much are they ? SWB too.

I am not surprised the Alan is involved, hes always with the great projects !!
