    Early Seat Belt Problem

    Was driving my '71 Targa the other day and my drivers side seatbelt dropped out of the B pillar, the bolt just found a way to loosen itself enough to drop out. I just screwed it back in, but is there a piece missing, like a lock washer, etc. Thanks for your help!

    Look closely at the bolt,there should be a plastic insert that keeps it tight, probably just wore out after 5o years,,,,these damn old cars,,,just falling apart! Assuming the plastic is worn out just use loc-tite or a wave washer.
