US Grand Prix - Austin. Friday NIght Gathering

As most of you know the US Grand Prix will be held in Austin on Nov. 16,17,18. While there are many activities for Saturday night there is not much going on for Friday night with the exception of FanFest and a few concerts.

So, Let's get together.

Stefan Schlessing from GTS Classics will graciously host the event.

When: Friday Nov. 16, 2012
6pm - 10pm.
Food and drinks provided. There will be beer provided but if you want something special you are welcome to bring your own favorite and share.

Location (S. Austin). Will be updated in the next two days or so.

We were happy to prepare and organize the Enthusiast dinner.Thank you all for coming and making it a great evening.
For those who couldn't come, we had German Spaten Oktoberfest and Lager beer,Heineken,Gluehwein,Pulled Pork,Virginia Ham and German Horseradish,German Potato salad,Cheese and German Almond Cookies,Apfelstrudel and Cherry tarte.Racing movies from the Nurburgring , so for next year make sure to put it down for all 356,911,912,914,930 owners and Porsche Enthusiasts.We will let you know the dates for the events.

Interested in hearing about the venue and race from those who were there. It looked like a very wide circuit and allowed for competitive racing. No accidents. Next year F1 coverage will be done by NBC Sports. I hear that Bob Varsha is out and that David Hobbs and Steve Matchett will stay on. I never realized that these commentators were in Charlotte covering the race.
