An american on the Riviera - History quest

    Hello everybody,

This is my first post on this forum. I'm living in France, proud owner of an early US 911. First, I would like to introduce my car, and next, i'm looking forward informations on its history...

    It's a 911T 2.0 Targa 1969, red Polo, VIN 119110129, engine 6195173, gearbox 5192248.

    - Bought 3rd April 2012 to Espace Central Auto (Cannes - FRANCE)
    - Sold (?) November 2011 by RemingtonWestCarz (Boulder - Colorado - USA)
    - Sold ? by Carl Wells (RIP†) from CW Performance (Boulder - Colorado - USA)
    - Bought (?) 2007 by Carl Wells to ?

I have contacted relatives of the ex-owner, who sadly passed away this summer, but i didn't get any success... Being also a new member of PCA, they told me that they don't have any match of that car in the club... Then i'm trying to investigate the big Porsche community in the USA by posting my request on various concerned forums. I would be very glad to hear new details from someone around here, though i don't have much hope...

Thank you for your attention, keep the 911 spirit !

Here are some pics of this Targa :

Great looking Targa. I really like the way it looks with the chrome wheels and hubcaps. A Targa must be the perfect way to enjoy the sun and scenery in your part of the world.
