Interior colours for orange exterior - other than black/tan

    Hi all,

I've mostly seen black interiors for orange cars, and the occasional tan. I would like to see any pics you have of other interior colours used with orange cars.

It's a long shot - but love to see how orange out goes with green in...

Anyone have anything tucked away on their hard drives?
    Cheers, Ryan

It's a 930 and the exterior is red (i think) however, you get the idea.
Chocolate brown would look nice too..

The Bruce Jennings Burgungy over Green is stunning (pics attached).

Ferrari has gotten a lot of milage out of a blue fabric seat material they've been using in their sports racing cars, F-1 cars and Lemans prototypes from just about the first Ferrari in '47 right through the seventies.

As a personal observation, I would suggest that it's quite important which shade of blue is chosen. I submit it would be imperative to choose a subdued, muted & faded looking cornflower blue as shown in photo #1, as opposed to the incorrectly gaudy, overly bright blue of the newly covered headrest of the Testa Rossa on the left in photo #2. Everyone would surely think you stuffed new Sparco seats into your car, instead, please compare to the cloth color of the original blue material in the other Testa Rossa on the right in the same photo. Now, I realize these are all red, not orange cars, but there are a number of cars painted in all kinds of orange shades with an equally wide range of blue interiors, and it seems the two colors can co-exist tastefully, after all, they're directly across from each other on a color wheel.....you would just have to pick the blue very carefully.

Another alternative to consider might be a dark blue like the dash in the prototype Mercedes 300SL Gullwing coupe ( photo #3 ). I submit it would lend contrast and a touch of somewhat formal elegance to an orange exterior.

I also agree with the above suggestion that a rich, dark chocolate-brown saddle leather could be quite effective, but invoking Dennis Miller's closing line - "that's just my opinion ....... I could be wrong".
