How to distinguish original vs. repro – Recaro RS lightweight seat

A couple of days ago I stumbled onto a RS lightweight seat.
By the looks of it and the weight, thickness of the shell, it looks to be original.
However, there are a couple of differences with the lightweight seats that my buddy Cees has.
Were there any differences in the production at recaro, or should they all be the same?

This seat seems to have more tapered ends on the end adjustment handle mounting.
It also has a rounded shape at the pin of the hinge that is inside the shell
Last odd thing is that the bottom of the shell has a line in the middle as if it was made smaller of wider.
Seat seems to be upholstered at some point in its life, using black plastic rivets, hinges have the correct patina for the age of the seat and it has three holes on the front mounting of the slider like some of the werks seats had.

Hello, when you gently pull off the cover at the front you might be able to see the foam, that will give a good indication on the age, as the German foam manufacturer put mostly a date to the seat foam.Looks to me like an original seat from the finish and the details around the hinges...
