It's a period Momo Prototipo, quite heavy in parking but I have strong arms!

    Congrats Frank, you'll enjoy it.
I've owned a Polaris '72 4-speed for many years, original engine, even original '72 cylinder head :-0

Were you able to get the manuals from Morgensen Motors?
The "Blue Books" are the original two volume shop manual set.
The "Orange Books" are the original two volume parts manual set.
If not, they're available as copies, and originals sometimes show up on eBay.

Parts prices are very reasonable, even inexpensive compared to similar items for early Porsches.

    Jon,

Mr. Morgensen did indeed transfer both sets of manuals with the car, along with some very cool documentation not the least of which is the original bill of sale and a hand written note signed by Mr. Dick Morgensen himself.

As things would have it he's flying out to Phoenix to visit a friend for Thanksgiving so the Mrs. and I are joining him for dinner next week.

This has been one of the coolest transactions I've ever had. Getting an awesome car is great too.

    I love this car.

In the wounded soldier area waiting for triage. Forensic detailing is as far as I go for the time being though.
