    '65 Shifter Linkage - Need an NLA Part

    The gear shift bracket - 901-424-015-02 holds the shift lever to the floor. It has a pin that is used to locate the shift lever ball (the ball has a slot in it) and prevent the lever from spinning around.

    My pin has sheared off. Standard supply places show 901-424-015-02 as NLA. Any ideas where to go to try used or anybody have a spare in good shape. Anybody ever reweld the pin? Thanks in advance.

    EDIT: PS - never mind - they are available used no problem. I thought this was going to be a lot harder to find.

    Hi Bruce, that part number is for the whole base....which I would expect to be NLA. I do not see a parts breakdown for the pin. It is part of the shifter. You have 2 solutions; get a hardened pin ground to the size you need from a local grinder or get another shifter.
