It looked like the Highway to Hell was used by the end of the race!

The #50 was retired just before Frank was to go out early Sunday afternoon.

Congtrats to Frank. He was up to speed very quickly. He didn't put one tire off the entire time (a couple of the other guys did ).

    Uhhmm... won't go there...

Still groggy and was reminded why when the girl at IHOP gave me senior's discount this morning without even asking me how old I was.

Yes, we retired near 21 hour mark with more drama than I care to expand on. Here's a pic of the car in the garage after the floor was ripped out from the race-ending off in the dogleg.
All in all, a great effort by a great team. Maybe next year...

    Thanks for the support.

Those guys are to be commended. Apparently they were still fighting set up issues in Friday testing. I would say they figured things out.

It would seem that a lot of folks were hard on the equipment. Like the announcers alluded to many times during the event that it had turned into a sprint race. Even Hurly Haywood commented on how different it was from his glory days.

Glad you're back in one piece Señor Citizen.

Congrats on getting so far in the race Frank. The last I saw, you guys were up to 12th OA before the off. I kept looking for you on the tube, but never got to see the car go live. Loved the commercials though... Get some sleep!
