    Black Headliner ?

When was a black headliner offered as an option. Has it always been available ?
Or when was it first offered for customer cars. ?

Most i have seen are in Sports purpose, race or rally cars. I seem to remember it being an option on the RS.

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

Dave - I've not seen (or heard of) a Factory-fitted black (vinyl ) headlining prior to '72
