    Dash switch knobs Restoration advice.

Ok, so this is what I have to start with.
I found new cups for replacement(with no holes for light) which I think they can be drill, but thats about all that its out there. I don't know how the plastic light tube work? If the ones in my picture are broken or 1 OK and one broken? The defroster and the fog switch seam to come with light but I haven't found much info or exploded views on this to bring this switches to optimal restauration. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

It just carries the light from the globe to the end of the switch.

It's just acrylic rod, easily found. Just cut it to the required lenght.

Nail polish works well for the end of the tube. Just raid the wife's.

Regarding light rods, please let us know where you buy replacements. IIRC, they are 4mm diameter, which is a size that does not appear to be readily available in the US. There's some overseas shops that carry it, but it would be nice to find a source in the states.
