Thread: Looking for opinions on 10000 V screwdriver handle - 1973 toolkit

Question Looking for opinions on 10000 V screwdriver handle - 1973 toolkit

    Dear toolkit gurus,

I've got this 10000 v red handle from a Porsche mechanics who had it in his junkyard. Do you think it's the original reversible one for the late 1973 toolkit, which I had been looking for?

I have had several of those kits with reverable screwdriver and I do not believe it had those markings on the handle however unable to tell you
exactly what was on the handle

I believe its a correct one, seen one at the Ventura swap meet many years ago, a vendor was selling tools maybe at Einmalig booth.
now you only need to find the other part that I think will be easier to acquire as it looks like a common reversible driver maybe similar to the ones in post 73 toolkits.

I am looking for the red or yellow handle for the screwdriver as well - if you have a red or yellow handle, please send me a message.

    Thank you!

I'm still looking for the reversible blade, in case some of you have one spare ... thanks.

My reversible red-handled screwdriver from a 73 tool kit just says "Made in Germany". No other markings.

Also, in some other threads here, folks with very late 73s had yellow handles, mid year had red (mine is May production), early had two separate screwdrivers. No idea if that's absolute 'truth'.

this handle should be ok, since it has the 10000 v to deal with the high voltage, butI'm sissing the "double face" blade with flat and Philips ends ... I have the others but not this very peculiar one ...
