Thread: Electrical terminals

    Electrical terminals

Can anyone recommend a source for good quality crimp-on electrical terminals -- male and female - similar to OE size and configuration where one crimp is made on the insulator and the other on the wire (I have the special crimp tool). Local Napa store has junk and I'm not sure if sizes are metric or universal. My original supply obtained from an automotive factory is almost gone.

    Thanks in advance

    John,

OK, you say you already have a correct F-type crimper, that's good. It should look like the one in this thread, a Knipex.

This stuff is a commodity, best place to buy it is from one of the huge supply houses. I use Digikey.

For example, A100798CT-ND CONN RCPT FASTON STRGHT 16-12AWG

You can play with their filter to change the wire gauge, length of the insulation crimp, size of the tab, whether you want a male tab also, etc.

    Good luck!

Thanks #304065, that's exactly what I'm looking for! Didn't know style and crimper are referred to as f-type, the only way to go.

    Thanks again,
