    Seller's eBay schtick . . .

    . . . selling 2 Porsche Fuchs 911R rims. These are 7J x 15" rims. Offset is 49mm. These rims are the REAL deal. The part number listed in the petal is 901-361-012-05 stamped in ink. Below that is the number AS1-62-F-26507. One petal has a round circle the size of a quarter ( can't tell what it says) ink stamped. One petal has 7J x15 ink stamped. These markings are the same for both wheels. One wheel is dated 8-70 and has the number 43 metal stamped inside a circle. The other wheel is a 6-69 metal stamped date and the number 42 metal stamped inside a circle. These rims are unmolested. Today I had both rims tested for run out ( testing to see if they are bent ) and both wheels are perfect, see screen shots. I also have them testing that on video. There is zero curb damage nor do they have any deep scratches. They would be easy to restore. These are great rims for the collector or for your "R" project car. The cost to ship would be $80.00 to the lower 48 states and that would include tracking number and insurance. ***If they are to be shipped outside the lower 48 I would have to get a proper quote for you based on your location. All funds in US dollars . . .

    BiN = $4k

    I can't work out from the ad whether the $4000 BIN is for one wheel or two. Either the seller has 2 sets or he is pricing the wheels *very* optimistically.

    Pretty sure he means $4K each... and equally optimistic (or insane) on shipping. $80 bucks per wheel?!?

    I just found this old thread and I would like to hijack it since it is so old.

    Anyway I have a pair of 15" Fuchs R's fitted to the rear of my 1970 911T. I am looking to swap them for a pair of the same width as the front and a friend would like my Fuchs R's for his 911E but pricing becomes the difficult part.

    The wheels have just been restored and they are like new but I have no idea how much they would be worth? Does anyone have any idea how much they could fetch?

    Kindest regards

    Jeff

    I think these are now going for about 8K / pair. Kinda crazy but if you want fancy jewelry it always costs more.
