    NOS Vintage VW Fuel Sender/Gauge

We have been doing some house cleaning around the shop this last week and I've found a ton of really random stuff my dad's had buried in corners for the last 2 decades.

Of particular interest is this little do-dad ... the instructions say it's an illuminated fuel gauge and sending unit for a 1952-1960 VW, but if it's a Bus or Bug part I just don't know.

My favorite part is the gauge bracket.

I'd be grateful if anyone had any info about the application or history of this little kit. I'd also be interested in valuations if anyone cares to weigh in.

Try the Samba. It does not look familiar to me. The one in my 21 window does not show numbers, just dashes

I'm sorry, Louie. Someone I owed a favor to snagged it for his oval window bug.
