For sale tool kit not 100% sure of applicable year

I have a tool kit for sale

It has the elephant hide bag which I think was 68 and maybe even early 69

Tools were aquired refurbed and are all correct marked Drop Forged and
screw drivers have 10000 volts marked on them and I don't think they are replicas.

Pliers I am unsure about look like hapewere but not marked as such

Specific pics on request to interested parties

    PLEASE NOTE

First person to email or post or PM that they will take the set wins the set, being first to send a PM or respond by asking questions does not mean you have first rights to purchase

I don't intend for this post to finish up like some others recently.

Shipping won't be cheap from down under, I have a Fed Ex acct that can be used.

    $1200 USD

Evidently you had no idea how extremely rare and coveted that "one year only 1968 elephant hide" tool bag is. That doesn't even speak for the "what looks like" pristine tools that came with it. IMHO, for $1200USD an absolute steal.

After acquiring about half this collection at substantially more, I agree with that!!

First, I want to reinforce Boyer73s's emphatic statement that a response with questions is NOT an offer to buy. It seems a shame to have to make such a statement to adults, but I have experienced exactly the same stupidity.

I'm glad it sold, because I was tempted.

    Isn't the elephant-hide bag special for the '68 S and L?

I can honestly say, this is the second "elephant skin tool bag" I have seen for sale in the last 2 or 3 years. The other I bought and went to Scott in FL. I guess I could have missed one, but it would have been a fluke. If nothing else that is a cool tool bag!

Nothing wrong with passing a deal on to another enthusiast.

That said, I better start digging in my bag stash to see what I've got!

I did seek advice from "the king" before listing. I was advised that if the bag was genuine, which I believe it is, that it may raise the price somewhat.

I am pleased that a fellow Aussie saw fit to jump in early. I did OK on the deal as I guess I acquired it from someone who knew even less than me, apparently the buyer did OK on the deal, so everybody is happy.
