Off by 6 digits... COA should be interesting, was the S spoiler and ducktail an option available on a T?

Here is the option code page from a 73E that I have been holding onto for 12 years now. maybe this will help. Looks like the Porsche option number for a/c was 559.

    G03 Option Group...

I can't find where I read that it was a 'warm weather' option group that included A/C and perhaps tinted windows.

    More info here:

You could also read this window sticker that it may be a cluster of options, itemized below. Note call out of option towards top of the window sticker, and then a bunch of 'no charge' items listed at the bottom. Hard to imagine 'radial tires' being an option though...

Yes, the G03 is an option grouping. Obviously not any of the priced options listed, and most if not all the NC items would be standard equipment. Then you have to work backward and figure out what the car actually has that is not listed specifically. Surely the dealer salesmen would have had the list of option groups, we just need to find the documentation.

If any one has a Kelly book, yellow book , blue book, etc. from the 1973 , 74 , 75 era it could possibly list this grouping in the saleman's used car data for pricing. Possibly checking a local small town library for these..... one that has not gone digital and thrown away all the hard copies after transfer onto something else.

I know this data appeared in the mid 80's , as I have several " Blue " books ( they only go back a seven year stretch ) that list my 944's option grouping , which happened to be H52 in Porsche terminology for combining a parcel of options together for sales purposes. This 3 digit code also appears on the white body tag in the l.r. corner of the cabin by the tailight and in the matching warranty booklet tag . BUT, it does not show it on the Monroney sticker which I also retained , and as evidenced here on the posted Monroney as listed by beh911.

Sometimes this stuff pops up in the most unlikeliest of places as on flea market vendors tables, antique stores, etc.

Thanks gruen911 for posting that data as it shared some costs and number codes for some options on 914's of that era that I had not seen before...... good stuff indeed.
