Where to buy engine rebuild parts?

While body is off to painter, am overhauling motor in '67S. Bearings, rings, chains, gasket sets, etc. Looking for good (Not bargain basement) prices and service. Prefer OEM. Dealer? Other? Thanks, Brian

Get your bearings from the dealer

everything else is a commodity that only comes from one source with lots of different distribution channels

so it comes down to who provides you with the best service and technical support

Okay, noted. However, I just looked at Pelican for piston ring sets ('67 S) and they are "no longer available". Any ideas here? Thanks,

Total Seal, J & E, Engine Builders Supply, Perfect Circle, Grant Rings, Mahle, Goetz, L & N Engineering, that's all I can think of quickly.

So, if I give you a couple days, can you come up with some more...?
Seriously, thanks, I was beginning to fear that OEM/Porsche was my only choice.
    A-shopping I go.
    Thanks again.

This attitude sucks. I hate it when people say that... If we aren't here to have a discussion, why are we here? Sheesh.

Thanks! Exactly the kind of recommendation I was seeking. Now, please, go and spread your wisdom to others.

Engine Builder's Supply in Reno, Nevada gets my vote. They can supply you with all your needs and provide excellent service. Call them and ask for Don.
