    help with 7' & 8's

I ran across a set of 7 and 8 x 15's with satin spokes. numbers on all wheels are 911361020. Anyone know what model these may have come on? Year?
    Thanks in advance, Bobby

Could be 944 wheels, Bobby. If the suffix numbers are 11 & 12 plus AS10.62, there's a small box following that with 12 (offset) in it.

They have black spokes but could have been refinished. Post some pics.

Bobby Smith, go to the next site down.... Technical, and look on the thread we just had discussion on last week. It contains a chart there giving all the Porsche / Fuchs part numbers and the corresponding apps.
I just bumped it to the top, so should be easy to come up on.....

    Its titled
"What is the Fuchs part number for Fuchs wheels for 944 "

Thanks for the reply guys. Here are 2 photos. I assume the first is the date code. Was there a satin spoke 7" and 8" in the mid eighties? These may have been refinished but they sure do look factory.

    Hi Bobby.
Those are unusal if they are factory anodised spokes on a "41" wheel (third gen late 7X15). Haven't seen the 41 wheel with dipped paint. That doesn't mean that they didn't do them as a wheel for replacement parts. The latest car that I have seen with anodize spokes on 7&8X15 was a 77 MY Euro Carrera. The replacement parts were available for 10 years as I recall. So that date would be in the range.
Please post some pictures of the face.

    Yes, they did
Both my 944's and 911 have matte finish black spokes and they are originals to both models, not refinished.
83,84, 85.1 and 88. The wheels you show pictured are made in the 42nd week of 85 and could have been on either model , or as stated by Harvey, indeed been replacement part wheels over the counter.

I remember Panorama running an ad in the late 80's for a huge stock of Fuchs rims virtually wholesaled to the public, and think most if not all of these were excess wheels from Porsche that had been made later after the model run had passed, carrying later build dates

Harvey, here is a photo of the "41" 7"x15" wheel face. I'd love your opinion. The 8"s are a 1986 date code and are "42". Pretty sure they were refinished. Also included a photo of the cool 8's and 9's I got from you a while back.
