How to get this working with that for 110 litre plastic fuel tank sender

I am putting a 110 litre repro tank in my ST recreation

Can anyone tell me how to get the new sender working with the old wiring please.

Looks like the gauge sender wire goes to the brass terminal, a ground spade will need to be mounted with one of the attachment screws (just like the oil tank sender) and you don't get the third wire which was for the warning light.

    adjust gauge

Do you need to get the instrument adjusted so it reads correctly with the 110 litre sending unit?

Shouldn't be an issue. The resistance values in the various senders are consistant. It will read 1/4 full when the 110 litre tank has 27.5 litres remaining just as it would read 1/4 full when a 60 litre tank has 15 litres...
