    Chuck,

.............how lucky to get to see the collection, must have made for a grand evening.

While I agree that Porsches in general and 911s specifically are the cerebral results and preoccupation of thinking men's brains, I feel strongly that it's also true that the passion many of us feel for Alfa Romeos comes straight from the heart.

Not to compete with your photos, but I thought you might enjoy additional shots of some of the more charming Alfas I've run across over the years, from the '39 2900 LeMans streamlined Coupe, to today's badge-engineered 8C Competizione Alfa-Ferraserati. God knows I've loved every Alfa I've ever owned.

    Best,

    JZG

    Thumbs up

    Very cool John.....

FWIW - On your very first pic of (judge) Joe DiLoreto's 'big' T33/12:
The last person who really drove that car the way it should was Scooter Patrick (in fact I believe his name is still on the side as co-driver) back in the late 80's, before they changed Lagun Seca to the new track configuration.

Well, old Scooter drove that mid '70's Alfa only about a second and a half off the then all time late '80's track record..........

    Cheers
