    i live in manhattan but can't imagine getting the car serviced here. so Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut, possibly NJ.

    Depends on what car and what you want done.

    Engine: Peter Dawe in Stroudsburg, PA, just over the NJ border (the far western one)
    Dan Jacobs in Oxford, CT, a bit of a haul but honest, knows what he's doing and a nice person to deal with

    I highly recommend SpeedwerkNY. Junior and Nyol are excellent. They are by the Tappan Zee Bridge in Rockland, about 20 miles from the GWB.

    I am in NYC. I use a shop in Huntington NY. The best by far. All Porsche and I have 3 vintage 911's there now. 1 hr LIRR ride from Penn and they are right there a mile from the station.
