    Dave Brubeck -- a guy with pure talent who brought jazz to the masses and did it with style, innovation and individuality.
    His music will always be important. To me anyway.

    I played sax professionally when I was younger -- Brubeck and Paul Desmond were two massive inspirations for me. RIP

    Brubeck

    I first saw Dave in the fifties on a college tour.Saw him many times in Chicago.He had a great long life and inspired many of us.I am sad at the loss,but happy I had a chance to see and hear a legend.TFM
