    First look at the aftermath

Edited this thread to consolidate my ramblings. See #22 below. ALWAYS CHECK LAST PAGE FOR UPDATESAlso added pic of my refurbed alternator and starter

Seeing the '67 in the for sale section thought I'd finally post some preliminary pictures. Probably damning the car to obscurity since most people seem to show pictures after priming. Sorry about the quality of some of the photos.

Dale has other projects he is working on so I am a fill in. Can't get any worse at this point so everything points up.

I assume the rope and strap are preventing the frontend from caving under its own weight?

If I recall the rope had nothing to do with the car. The strap is actually duct tape. Deal I made with PO was I would only pay him if it got to Dale's shop in one piece rather than two. Duct tape is a wonder no matter what the color. Got three petrified snakes as a bonus. You can see Dale's work if you turn up old issues of Excellence. He put Dr. Bret Johnsons '52 convertible together. Hope to show pictures of his work on my '68 912 soon.

Looking at the photos it looks like the car may have some rust issues.
