Sorry. Should have tied these together:

    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...t=swiss+cheese

Awaiting full body pan from Parts-Wise
Wheels at Weidmans (somewhere in cue)
    Instruments at North Hollywood
    Fan at Mark Motshagen
Brakes, rotors and brake lines received from PMB (Excellent and shown on a prior thread)
Carbs going to Paul Abbot today Cool guy - passion shows - spoke to me for over an hour on phone)
Engine at RS Werks in Delaware
Bumper weights from Rick Cabell to be picked up at Hershey
Reproduction parts (excellent) from Eric Linden

Total to date $74,304.12. Thought I could bring it in under $100,000.00. Rick Cabell said I couldn't. Rising cost of parts and professional restoration of certain items going through the roof and its going to bring it closer to $125,000.00

Guess I should also add this:

Snakes sent to Smithsonian. New breed that lives in Porsches. May be evolution of tin worm. Just going to buff the rest out.

Just got these back in the mail today. Work was done by ABC Partswerks in Wisconsin. Read somewhere that Vic Skirmants uses them and I can see why. Very pleased. The are on the web.

Also just acquired the targa gussets for left and right side (thanks RSTarga and Eric Linden). Promised to send to Restoration Design for them to scan into their virtual library. When they come back we will finally be ready to install full pan. I'll try to keep this tread updated under this heading

Previously acquired rear panels and targa bar cover in great shape. Decided to pop for Aase door panels to match. Going to leave the balance to Tony when I get to that point

The new door panel is on the left and the used stuff is on the right. Used stuff needs a good cleaning but the german vinyl matches. Have to make new backer boards for the side panels. Thanks Aase

Also of note is the door caps and under dash panel for sale in sales section. Unfortunately for seller I am not going to purchase but want to thank him for the detailed shots. Previously bought the "S" trim strip from CARMELSKIP and was perplexed as to how to bend them around the end of the rear cap but can now see how Porsche did it. Thanks 1970rsr.

They do work for 356 guys. Told them I would be bringing my gas tank in next. Asked if the would paint it whatever color I wanted if I bring in the paint. Is there any consensus as to what paint to use for a '67?

Mine is dark gray. May have been lighter at some point.

1967 911. The records on this car are pretty darn good and go back to the 1st owner who was a pilot for Western Airlines. Wiped it down this morning. The schutz can been seen in places were the tire has rubbed through the color.

The color is clearly visible in person over the back of the tank where the VIN bulkhead covers it. No signs of it being removed from the car.
