FS: NEW OLD STOCK WEBER 40IDAs in the box!

I should probably keep these but my low mileage car has its original webers already on it in great shape. There will not be many more opportunities to buy a set of NOS Italian made Weber 40IDA carburetors. These have been in their boxes (boxes are really worn) they have been sitting on a shelf since a certain shop closed down in the 1980s due to the owner passing away. There is one issue with these carburetors - one of the air/fuel mixture screws has been bent from storage (no damage to the body), that is the only issue with these carbs, otherwise perfect and complete.

    $3800 obo

They have never had fuel in them, never mounted to a manifold. The shop these were at closed in the 1980s, much of the stuff was sold off and a couple high end boxed parts were kept by a relative. The remainder of these parts were recently sold to me. I will take some better pictures of them for posterity.

These carbs were taken to a swap meet a couple times long long ago. They were double boxed and I suspect carting them around caused the bent screw.
