    Upper Valve Covers

    Looking for a pair of decent upper alloy valve covers to replace my magnesium ones that keep warping. Car is a 1968 N.

    Will do Tom. Are the 901.105.115.02 and 901.105.115.03 (Pelican Parts, etc) identical?

    There are two types of Al upper valve covers. See the photo for reference. The pair on the left are the early sand cast version used on the '65-'67 SWB cars. The pair on the right are the later die cast covers used on the '77-'89 cars. Usually when people upgrade from a Magnesium cover they go to the later die cast cover. The sand cast covers are more rare and more expensive. I believe either type should work with your cam towers.
