Put new wheels on my 67 911 project. Should be back on the road soon after a engine rebuild/upgrade and new PMO carbs.Name: IMG_2013.jpg

My hope is that this is many years in the future…but I finally decided that it was important to make sure that someone besides me can drive this old contraption.

PS - So far, we made both battery charging and start up videos. Next up, how to check the oil!

Nice Peter, now check him out going over Mingus to Jerome, Camp Verde, and back. That would be the graduation exercise. It was for me at age 18 many years ago.
This comment made me smile. You’re spot on!

Actually a 69 POLO car I'm developing. I'm working on how I want the dash gauges set up. One is a outside temp gauge, and the other I'm trying to decide on a triple or quad. I'm leaning toward a triple as VDO actually made them for the 904. I don't think they ever made a quad like mine. I can see a 60's 911 owner going to a Porsche dealer and buying one. I just bought one of these. https://vehiclecontrols.com/shopping...ure-gauge-kit/
North Hollywood back in 2010 took one of these and built a far left dash outside temp gauge for my car. Here is a picture. The new gauge will be white where mine is green, no inner chrome ring, and have a red needle.
I'm also hunting for a left side of the gauge oil pressure unit like the other picture. Anyone have one or two they'd sell? Anyone ever see a right side temp unit?
I'd love a left side that went to 140 pounds.
The challenge with the triple and quad is if you like a 350 to 370 mm steering wheel the 9 and 12 o'clock units are blocked. I'm working on a solution.
