    Thanks Franz. I assume white nylon plugs are for the drip holes in the center of the pan.

    This drain hole thing has been discussed in other earlier threads...

    One day down at EASY back when they had several long hoods Jim and I crawled around under cars....the question at the time was the center drain holes.

    What we found .....Karmann cars had center drain holes plugged with the flat rubber plugs, Reuter cars had no holes.

    I have an original pan '67S (SWB) right now with with no center Holes, one large Webasto, and four front pan holes. Two of the front holes have the long flatten rubber drains from the storage, and two are in the outer cross reinforcing stamping between the front A-arm mounts....either side of the tow hook. No plugs, but could have been lost. The round stampings are "outers."

    those are all center drip plugs i have collected during the years....

    Actually, Mon-Tues: Sway-A-Way 21/29 torsion bars, 18mm sway bars, 7x15 wheels done by Al Reed with 205-55 Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires, lowered, aligned, corner balance. I also now know her weight with no driver and 3/4 tank of fuel...2246 lbs
