    Chris,

I wasn't able to see much more than your tail lights most of the time, ...........but i have to admit, I was also impressed with the capabilities of the SWB contingent. No matter..........it was a great drive.

Went for a 425 mile road trip with a Jensen. The S performed faultlessly and drank half the fuel that the Interceptor did.

On Friday I picked up my lollipop seat from the nice gentleman who shuttled it from Australia to the USA for me in his container after the historics at Philip Island.

    Now, it sits awaiting installation.

    I am EXCITED!!

I visited my mechanic and I was pleased to watch the engine and the gearbox ready to be fitted in Trudi! All small details are awesome (by example the screws and bolts are true RSR stuff…)
I watched also the strap to fix the tank, perfectly fitted like original RSR's. That kind of details are very rare in the «replica» business today. And my mechanic can do them because he is a specialist who is selected for judging RS or RSR in high level shows. He told me he was embarrassed sometimes to tell the owner that his car was not true or badly renovated…
He possessed 2 original RSR (0614 http://www.pbase.com/slidevalve911rs...r_sn9113600614) and another one I don't remember the number, as well as many RS's light and touring. Better to be sure about your car when you want to show him your baby!

Nice Silver S Dr. Mark, and welcome to the Registry.

Marco, congrats on the seat. That's going to be very cool. I need a driver seat, send me your old one!

And Jack, wonderful car. Sounds like it's done right, by the man that can do just that. Congratulations on a great RSR build.

I replace my old dead pedal with a better, smaller and lighter version with a much better angle and feel. I also allowed my personal service staff to wash the Little White Car. She was honored... SLAP!!

I've been using the Marine Grade Sta-Bil in all my seasonal engines during storage periods with great results. Turn the key on the White car and it starts right up, push the button on my log splitter and it starts right up, pull the cords of my chainsaws and they start right up, snow blower, lawn mower, leaf blower, weed whacker, etc. I'm very grateful to the man who recommended Marine Grade Sta-Bil to me.

Adjusted valves. Replaced leaky valve cover gaskets with those nice reinforced ones from Vic Skirmants. Started putting the suspension back together.
