Thanks guys, you actually have me considering keeping the old garage.

here are some additional pics Missy took quickly after the home inspection was wrapped up -unfortunately she didnt get any inside the garage.

1st job will be to clean the crap off the roof, 2nd will be to put a proper knob/lock on the door, and 3rd will be to paint the walls white and add usable lighting on the interior.

Remove the pedal cluster and fuel tank on the SC. Cleaned the front trunk.

Wrote the France Regional Report for the next ESSES :-)

I drove to my mechanic for the last phase of Trudi's upgrading: changing the seats and the windows, the pipes which broke during the rally as well! I noticed the tires are dead! But really dead… A new set of TB15 is waiting. I felt vibrations with hard brakings on the french roads last week-end and I was thinking about the brake pads but it seems it was the tires. Now, I have to find new harnesses (REPA copies) and an RSR oil tank with the famous valve. I forgot Glaverbel glasses, but I'm on a trail…

A project like Trudi is never finished and it's as passionating to look for the parts as fun to drive.

Keep brainstorming Harry. There is a lot you can do with not a lot of money.

A little over 10 years ago we built my 1000 square foot concrete floor workshop with radiant heat, extreme lighting, outlets everywhere (110V and 220V) for $121k all-in. Oh yeah, included with that price is the 4 bedroom 2 bath super-insulated custom house above it with solid 3/4" oak flooring, full mud-job tile, radiant flooring, 4 foot fireplace, custom cherry kitchen with stainless counters, Sub-Zero fridge, huge decks. 3 minutes from the ski area in a private neighborhood. Oh yeah, that included power, water, DSL, sewer and the cost of the land. It cost us all of $800 out-of-pocket.

Of course, I did ALL the work. (appraised at $675k)

Guys, you don't know how lucky you are with the price of the building in the USA! Two years ago, I built a cover for 2 cars with just one 110v connection and 2 lights. It costed me 90'000 $… Switzerland is a nice country to live, but an expensive one! By this time, I could have buy a 911 2.4S…
