    Question Trunk carpet

Finishing off my trunk, fitting a carpet set I got from PP and noticed that the pocket for the support is stitched on the top.

Should it be stitched under the panel, so as not to be seen?

I can't fit it the other way as the attachments won't line up and then the support sits on top of the spare.

    TIA
    Tony

I ended up working it out, and although the set i purchased was advertised on PP to be from Autobahn it was sewn incorrectly with the pocket for the ply support being fitted to the upper surface, where it would appear that it should have been placed underneath.
