MFI Warm Air Intake Holes in Engine Tin

Anyone have any ideas on the best method to close the hole, after the warm air intake tube is removed from the engine tin, to the left of, and below, the distributor?

    Vic,

One method is to not fill the hole and not remove the foil hose at all....
Have the hose come up through the tin, compress it a bit, cap it,, clamp the cap, and call it a day....

Vic, No they were cut to size and then center drilled. They sandwich the engine tin. I think we put a piece of rubber as a gasket to keep vibrations down.

My 69E race car has a round piece of like thickness metal, held in place by a few little spot welds. Painted black to match.

I would like to see Chuck Miller's photos on reply #2. All I can see is a red "x". What am I doing wrong?

Andrew - Not sure what you're doing wrong... can you see any pics on the board? ... If not, you probably have to re-register on the board.

Ryan - The 'V' for victory hand sign is one of the logos for Kendall oil... I used Kendall GT-1 for over 30 years before I found out better... (see Kendall oil thread) I now have a BRAD PENN oil sticker in the same place.....

Here slightly closer... hope this helps
