    Protractors P228b P228c

Thanks to the kind loan of a set by one of my book readers, I am having the Porsche Special Tools P228b and P228c remanufactured. These protractors will be an exact replica of the original Porsche Special Tools except they will be fitted with much stronger Neodymium magnets in place of the original Ferrite magnets. The degree scales have been accurately calibrated to each protractor individually in 1-degree intervals as the originals and accurately printed Black on Silver foil vinyl with a clear oil resisting coating to protect the print.

All five protractors will be included in the set with a set of five brass pointers preformed to fit and requiring only minimal adjustment to zero during use. I am intending to provide the sets in a durable plastic case with custom fitted foam insert. The sets of protractors will be supplied with fitting and operating instructions written by myself including the data from CMA and clear photos.

I will post progress on these on this site and via my book site but hope to have these available to anyone interested early next year.

I don’t have a final price yet but I intend to keep it sensible.

Interested ! Though it brings back bad memories of my teachers whacking me on the knuckles with the ruler that came in my geometry set.

Yes, I have been putting together a set of Fitting and Operating instructions. This will have photos etc to make it easy to follow.

If anyone wants a copy of the drawing as a PDF to plot I am happy to send it over. I think it makes a cool poster. I am putting one in my study. Plots really well at A1 direct from Autocad….
