FS- Pair of OEM 7R Fuchs wheels restored by Harvey Weidman

These are original 7R, 911R rear wheels. Not weld ups. These were just picked up from Harvey Weidman today. Unfortunately I have sold the car that these were going on so I'm offering them up to someone who can use them. One wheel is dated 2/68 and the other is 4/70.

For those unfamiliar with the process. When these were forged back in the day they used the tool from the 6x15 "deep sixes" they then ground off the 6" casting numbers and replaced them with an ink stamp. The ink stamps did not last very long but you can see where the part numbers where ground off on one of the wheels. The other wheel did not get ground for whatever reason. There is no mistaking the profile of a real 7R wheel though, ink stamp or not.

As you can see these were professionally restored by Harvey and they are in perfect, as new condition.

    Edit- Decided to keep em

    Craig

Harvey does beautiful work ..... I'm kind of speechless.

    Wow ....

(Is it bad to love a wheel that much?)

Soo....I may have been a bit too proud of these.

Anyways, as of yesterday I have found a use for them ;-)

Don't want to kill your buzz, but I don't think those a "7R" wheels. They clearly don't measure 7 inches as per your picture. The measurement for the wheels is between the bead seats. Looks to be six inches to me. They are beautiful even if they aren't "7R" wheels.

Thanks for that info. I better go tell Harvey to get his head examined.

Haha...sorry, I couldn't help myself. I think your looking at the picture wrong, the tape measure is on the lower wheel in that picture not the upper one. Admittedly, I'm no photographer.

HAHA! I missed the one below. I see it now. Clearly a correct width wheel.
