The radio hole in your dash has been cut larger for the later radio. You will probably need to restore the lost opening shape with the three holes and either replace the brushed aluminum trim or use a faceplate to cover the cut aluminum.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

There are only 2 options replace the aluminum dash face material with proper cut out (2 circles and retangle) or new faceplate. This might be the cheapest alternative: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blaupunkt-Ra...bedc11&vxp=mtr. You would apply the faceplate and pull unit towards the dash so it is tight then screw in back end bracket.

Just wondering what the knob labeled "do not misuse" is for. It looks like something from the illuminati.

Its for the 4-way flashers. Always thought that warning was a bit odd.
