    alternator nut availability and sizing

Seems many online vendors have the alternator/fan nut as NLA- is there a source I'm missing for these (ie available at any hardware store)? Secondly, the PET shows two part numbers, each with different sizing- M16x1 and M14x1,5- anyone know which one is correct? These are different diameters and thread sizes...is there a year-based difference between what was used?

    Thanks,
    Marco

If memory serves me, the coarse thread is a Bosch alt. and the fine thread is Motorola/ Marchal.
