    FS: 1992 964 c2 **low mileage**

I am listing this car for sale for one of my clients.

    Car is SOLD.

    Black/Black 964 C2
    38,XXX original miles
    2nd owner
    Sport seats
    Limited slip
    Rear Wiper
    Bone stock and totally unmolested

This car is not perfect - the paint has a few small issues, wheels are scuffed, and the dash has some cracking over the gauges (never seen that before ), a couple of the gauges have delaminated lenses - but it is a FANTASTIC driver.

This car still has ALL the original belly pans.

It dives like a car with 38K original miles.

Interior is in great shape, but the driver's seat is showing wear on the backrest bolster from getting in and out since 1992 (hey, it's a sport seat).

Follow the link for really bad photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/9104072...7632284973885/

If there is serious interest I will gladly provide additional information.

    Please contact me at TLG_Porsche@yahoo.com

    Car is SOLD.

THIS is the car that everyone wishes they could find but can't manage to capture.

    LOW MILEAGE
    LIMITED SLIP
    SPORT SEATS
    REAR WIPER

Never have seen the guage clouding in a 964 before either, Marco. The LSD is a great option on a C2.

    Wheels look good too. Hehe....

Guys, my punctuation is impeccable. The "never seen it before" was in reference to the way the dash was cracking, not the gauge lens delamination; that is old hat.

Joey - rear wiper ... one of my favorite options on the C2 ... I love how they go through the glass. And they are a functional accessory - my dad had his '72 out in the rain a week ago and he actually came in the next day raving about the rear wiper. Go figure...

Raj - The owner has a file of paperwork on the car which he's promised to send me but hasn't. I have never had the belly pans off the car in the time I've known it. I've asked the owner to FedEx me the file so I can go through it. It has a bit of moisture on the right side of the belly pan, but the car has never left a drop of oil on the floor at my shop, even when it sat in the same spot for a month while the owner was on vacation. So, oil leaks? Not that I'd give any credence to.

I know this is kind of a "vested interest" situation because I'm the one listing the car, but I'm willing to perform a detailed PPI for any interested buyer(s) as the car is just sitting here waiting for a new owner to drive it home.

FWIW, my and my shop's reputation mean more to me than selling a car for a client.

I urge anyone who's seriously interested to jump on this thing ... if it were blue I'd have already bought it.

Nice C2 with all the right options. Swap out for some 17" cup wheels and lower it a tad will look amazing.

In the current condition this only worth $20K even with the low mileage. The next owner is going to spend $$$ to make this presentable.....even then it's only worth +/-$30K tops. IMO....I'd rather buy a higher mileage car thats been well taken care of with complete history for $26K.

What's not "presentable"? From 10ft it looks great, and you can't see the outside from the driver's seat.

It's a low-mileage, original car that needs some minor cosmetic TLC. Really, though, the paint isn't terrible...
