I, for one, will be interested -- how about the McQueen Jag -- photos, prices? Also, anything Porsche.

Im in Scarsdale myself......well, work office is.

I have a really nice silver 1/18 Porsche 904 by Minichamps.

I do have the AutoArt SS Jag in green... the McQueen car...very nice.

I have a 1/43 917 L....Gulf livery....this was hand made by J. Simon and sold under the Marsh name...really nice one as well.

Ill get photos.....Ill get prices too!.....I want to make the prices appealing for the folks here. Not trying to get top dollar at all. Its been hard to make up my mind to sell...but its time. Ive collected for almost 20 yrs......time to thin the herd.

The Exoto Grand Sport is highly desired.......as is an Exoto Daytona Cobra Coupe..its the no. 5 car ..1964 Gurney/Bondurant Lemans winner........I also have a framed print (from an orig neg) of the car in action!

Joel, I'm doing the same thing. At one point I had over 1000 1:43's. It's down to 500 or so now. Like all collectibles, they've taken a BIG hit (even before the economy tanked). I'm pulling models out of boxes that traded 10 years ago for $400 or more that can't get a bid at $35 today! I'm selling everything I have.

The handbuilts and the Exoto stuff might be a different story. Mine are mostly Minichamps, etc. diecast.

i have been collecting, mainly 1/43, models for over 20 years now. for about 20 years i have narrowed it down to mainly Porsche competition cars up to about 1973 / 4 with the exception of all the le mans winners and some prototypes into the 80's.
I am especially interested in 1960's and early 70's 911 based rally cars (although I have a lot of them i don't have nearly as many as i know exist but mainly from obscure brands etc), 73RSR's especially rare ones and significant cars (i have all the 1973 factory R cars in most guises including a number of the longtail RSR's) 917/10's especially interserie ones but also i am missing a few of the can am variants.

here is a taste of them
Curt, if you are a seller as well, I am happy to give Joel and you a fair price for any in these categories

Anything 1/12 or larger I am interested. I like them big! No American cars though. Only European!!

I just picked up a super rare resin 1/10 908 Langheck. It's huge and looks cool on the wall. Yes wall. I hang my large cars like art.

Sounds like a nearly complete collection Hugh! I doubt I have anything you don't already have, but if I come across something odd I'll let you know.

There is always "just one more". In fact I have been noticing some zasada rally cars starting to appear as well as some Swedish rally cars and a few from minor events. That could be a real slippery slope. However like with the full scale cars much of the pleasure is in the hunt.

some folks have asked for specific pics....here are some phone pics for now:

these are very respected marsh models 1/43...all are retired. Handmade by J. Simon out of the UK.

GT 40(Mk.2) driven by R. Bucknam , Grand Sport, no. 80 driven by the Flying dentist, Dick Thompson, and 917Langen..all are in proper livery in the period they raced:

AutoArt McQueen Jag....and Minichamps 904..both 1/18..I believe both are retired:
