    Removal of pedal cluster

Can anyone give me a tutorial on the steps to remove a pedal cluster from an early car, or point me to a thread?

    Thanks,

Pelican has lots of threads on the topic. Easiest to go there for basic, run of the mill R/R stuff.

Get under the car and look around, get in the car, go down where the petals are and look around. Take off approx 4 nuts, and the clutch cable and lift it out.

when you are looking around under the car make sure to remove the steering rack protective plate so you can access the master cylinder and see two out of the four nuts that Mike mentions in the post above.

Thanks to all. The last clue from Nick will help but now I have to get the plate off!

... Helps to soak fasteners with penetrating oil (PB Blaster is my favorite). Tap nut flats with brass drift helps to loosen years of thread bonding.
