Had a much anticipated sunny day in Seattle yesterday. Decided to continue the break in on the new 2.7 and managed a few shots. A little Motshagen action!

Looks awesome! What color ceramic did you have Mots do on the fan? I can't tell if it's clear, aluminum or perhaps mag colored

The ceramic is the mag finish. I also have the original fan for the original 2 liter that he did in clear since it's in pretty amazing shape. I cannot say enough good thinks about Mark and the quality of his work!

Thanks for the comments. I've had the car for about 2 years now and as you know it's a pretty slippery slope. It's been out of commission for almost 8 months with the engine build. I still have several things I need to finish in the engine compartment such as the installing the bendix pump, the defrost hoses, cleaning up the wiring and re-plating the fuel line. However it's a vast improvement so far given the prior look:
Here's a few during shots:
I love the motor, however, I'm definitely slipping down the slope! Planning on a roll hoop, some Vintage Seats, real seat belts, and this that and the other. I've started gathering hardware to refinish the trunk over the spring.
On another note, I cannot tell you guys how amazing a reference this board has been and how helpful everyone has been. This board and the community only enrich the smiles that come with having these cars.

lots of special work, its nice to see everything come together after all that work. I have to say though, that spade connector/wiring there on the left is killing me.

It's beautiful. Whats killing me is the open and degrading sound pad. Those rain hats won't do much to stop the engine from ingesting whatever is coming out. Car looks awesome!!
