You might want to check the transaxle for a LSD, Nadellas were discontinued before 68 except for LSD cars.

Plenty of info on here, search "Nadella"

Unless you are doing a historical detail correct, concourse perfect garage queen...ie never driven. Replace the Nadellas with later constant velocity joints. It's a pain as you have to change out the transaxle flanges, and I'm sure someone will chime in that they have driven on these relics for a zillion miles without a problem....they're lucky. They will fail, and if at the wrong time will steer you off the road or worse. Why do you suppose the factory replaced them early in the series?

    Very good point, Andy!

A picture of one of the output flanges on the trans will reveal whether the car has a LSD or not.

Flycut, please post a picture of the flange and we can ID the diff for you.

    Regards

I have a 10/67 68 911 Normal and mine is not equipped with Nadellas. Might be worth more as scrap...

I was going to get the trans back and put it in my 69.
What are the advantages of LSD?

First of all, if it does have a LSD, you won't be able to mate up your axles without a complex adaptor, made by a talented machinest/fabricator. If it doesn't have a LSD, you will need to find a pair of output flanges from a early 69 aluminum cased trans. That is asssuming that the trans is a 68. If it is earlier, all bets are off.
