Looking for a little advice to respond to a couple of questions.

Is there any difference between 912 and 911 standard seats? Apart from the seatbelt attachment, the two seat sets I have for sale appear identical (top two items here http://earlyporscheyardsale.tumblr.com). All advice gratefully received.

    Cheers

    Neil,
    For starters:

The 70 T has a locking mechanism for the seatback with a release button on the side. This started for MY 69 cars.

I *think* the 68 seat back does not lock in place nor should it have a release button in the chrome spear support.

Not sure on the guts of the seats or the mounting brackets, etc being same or different.

Hopefully someone will correct if I am wrong.

Thanks mate. I guess I'm specifically looking to know if '68 MY standard seats were the same in both 911 & 912... I'll keep digging...
