FS: Sport Seat with Single Locker Base

    ** NO LONGER FOR SALE**

    Sport Seat

DRIVER side Sport Seat mounted on a correct single locker base. Could be used on the passenger side. The base has the electrical connection for the seat belt warning light, so I believe this is a later Sport Seat, probably '72 to early '73. As you know, they went to the double locker mid-1973. (Thanks to Andy and Alan for the input)

    Seat Condition
I rate the condition of the seat at 1- . The black vinyl may be original and it is in excellent condition with no blemishes, cracks, scuffs or tears and is supple. The padding is firm and the bands under the seat are tight - no sagging at all. Very comfortable seat. One whamoo is that the side bracket mounting screws were evidently broken off at some point and things were moused with nuts. Also the bracket itself could use refurbishing.

    Base Condition
Everything there including the seat belt receiver, knobs (I have the knob that's missing in the picture) and rails and all working properly. I was planning on refurbishing it cosmetically, but I'll leave that to the new owner.

    NO LONGER FOR SALE

I'm going to go ahead and correct the flaws and restore the base. Thanks for your interest.

    Happy New Year!

In case it helps the base thus probably the seat also is from a 72 car.

    Andy & Alan...

Thanks for the input. Judging from the vinyl and the stitching can you tell if it's original vinyl or a redo?

    Short-Term Special Price - Until 1/3/13 1:00pm PST

This hasn't sold, so let's have a little fun with it. If it doesn't sell at the lower price then it's off to eBay.

    Cheers,
    John

    Dean...

Got your PM - I'd rather keep things together for now. Thanks for asking.

Sometimes price point is an issue for one purchaser. If seperated, the price point is lower for both parties and the sum of the parts can sometimes yied great value for the seller! Just a thought. Keep me posted if things should change.
