FS 2.7 7R engine on webers

Up for sale is the engine that was in my 70S.

    It is a 77 911S 7R motor (confirmed by PCM) on 40 Weber IDA's.

Not much is known of the engine. It had a rebuild in 2006 (i have a receipt but no detail) and was driven until 2009 on the road. In 2009 the car was purchased for a resto and has gone through two owners before me and rarely been on the road.

Car was running when I bought it and the engine ran well but the carbs needed a tune up.

Would make a great basis for a hotrod or 2.7RS build.

    Engine No 6372188

Hard to value this engine so here goes $7k obo. (happy to be proven wrong!)

includes all tinware Ansa style exhaust and is complete (as dropped out of the car) ready to drop in.
Rear main seal would need replacing as it is weeping.

    Thanks

    Parts left

    Hi Ivor,

    Short motor is intact.

7R case with crankshaft and int-shaft in place. Rods on the crankshaft and oil pump still intact.

The heads are gone...the P & C's aren't worth keeping. I will post a photo so you can see whats left.

Very keen to move it....offers invited.

    Thanks
