    FS: @Kijiji - 1968 911

No affiliation just passing it along
Not an s obviously but owner says 68S motor & transmission, was going to look if anyone interested.
A little optimistic for a non original T?

I think the price is in the ballpark. What makes you think that this is a T?

I talked to the owner and that's what he told me. I never got any vin numbers. I was going to look at the car today.

I spoke with the owner as well, he said it was a '68 S motor in a '68T vehicle. Claimed also there is no rust. I didn't get into whether the rest of the S upgrades were there (suspension brakes), but judging from what's been done in the interior (wood wheel) it may be a "complete" clone.

No side marker lights so it could be a RoW T. The interior looks correct other than the radio and possibly the window cranks (hard to tell in the pic). Rare 2 piece dash is cracked. Wood Wheel was an available option in 68.

Looked at this car today nice shape looks like original floor pans, smugglers box rust free, T brakes 901/02 motor IDT carbs, R style muffler, nice clean interior aside from the dash.
The motor looks to be a mag case is that right, I thought it should be aluminum case for that year?!!
The owner said he had a lot of interest, nice driver for someone not to worried about matching numbers.
New blisteins on the front and new shock on the back, all new bushings.

Nick is correct in stating the mid year change from aluminum to mag case. I'd confirm the cars engine numbers and its' application...otherwise it sounds like a decent deal.

I guess the number is correct for a 68 mag case #4080828 #12633 for Dave's records. Better hurry.

A straight virtually rust free, nicely running SWB with a 911 S motor...sounds like a pretty good buy, especially if you can chip away a little at the asking price...

Interesting. Did you get any paint code or other info.
I had the VIN in my database previously, but my link was an older (now invalid) form. A VIN search did not help.
