    Leather tool kit....time killer

I have been down and out with the flu for a few days and decided to make my own tool kit from leather. It was a fun and time consuming project, although I must admit my hands hurt a bit as all sewing was done by hand. Anyway, thought I would share a few pics for the heck of it. Lastly, I made strap so it would feed through the center hole of a steelie spare and then secure itself by running through a top and bottom D hole in the wheel to finally buckle for no movement. Happy New Year.

Nicely done. Thought about different colors? You may have started your own cottage business.

    Way cool!

I can only imagine how sore your hands were after stitching all that leather. That is one really nice tool kit and I would be willing to pay for one (if they came on the market)!

Thanks All...Appreciate the kind comments! I made this one from natural vegetable tanned belting leather as I really like this kind of leather when it gets patina. Might try one in black leather, but my hands will need a bit of rest...ha
